Welcome to Britain's most intimate Folk Festival! - Hartington’s popular food and folk festival returns for its second year on Saturday May 29th and Sunday May 30th 2010 (Spring Bank Holiday)

The weekend includes two nights of intimate folk music at one of Derbyshire's most scenic villages. Saturday will be a traditional folk and celtic dance night headlined by award-winning Monster Ceilidh Band and Sunday will see some of the best up-and-coming young folk musicians perform, including BBC Radio 2 favourites and award winning duo - Megson as well as Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts (Radio 2 Folk Horizon Nominees) and Lucy Ward (Radio 2 Young Folk Nominee).

Our second year showcase of small independent food and drink producers from Derbyshire and beyond will also be taking place, the village hall will be packed with the finest food and drink stalls who exhibit their products for sampling, tasting and sales
